It's so hard to say good bye

It's been a fun ride, these two years. My lab members, up from my bossman to postdocs to my fellow grad students, are some of the nicest and coolest people I've met. This place has become my second home, these people my family.

I have been told that I bring life and laughter to this place, with my endless pranks (e.g. rolling my chair towards the middle of the road to block people's way, or changing people's names on lab schedule), personal attacks towards coworkers, such as translating their names into weird-sounding Cantonese, giving people panda names, talking back to T and making jokes at the expense of others.

I also had frequent physical and verbal spars with GL as fellow members (mostly LJ) cheer on appreciatively - the more violent the better. Ah, you blood-thirsty spectators. GL, who is also a desperate attention seeker and my mentally-retarded younger brother (^_^), has been my biggest partner-in-crime to come up with many of the fun stuff, and also my most picked-on victim. XT, on the other hand, is 100% nice guy material, and XK, maybe 50%, as he blows hot and cold. And B? B was one of the most patient person I've ever met.

While my sporadic and neurotic laughters when plugged onto Youtube won countless stares, I also helped people fight boredom by introducing them to funny or interesting reads, and by putting up eyecandies (according to me) as my desktop background.

Occasionally, in order to avoid the awkwardness of having nothing answer to my boss' all-too-frequent "SOoooo, anything new?", I do some work with the very hot and single (according to him, but it's so hard to believe) postdoc, S. Maybe single skinny J-Lo is really hard to find. That, or he's too picky, haha.

Ah, I'm going to miss you all. Thanks for the good times. I hope that I've brought as much happiness and fun to your lives as you did mine. Take care, keep in touch, see you later.
