I have talked about Project Superstar before. Campus Superstar, however, is an entirely different ball game. These kids are just 13-18 years old, and the standard is decidedly lower than PSS given the young age (and therefore lack of experience) of the contestants.
Most are just karaoke standard, but it's surprisingly fun to watch. The gals all look and sound the same (sweet, kawaii, boring) but there is much more diversity between the boy contestants. The tallest looks full grown but the shortest may be just 140cm. One favorite, the little boy, hasn't even broken his voice! Haha. But I haven't seen anyone who is good enough to cut a record. Oh well, they are still young.
